• What types of rugs can you clean?

  We clean Oriental rugs, area rugs, synthetic rugs, and natural fiber rugs (like wool, cotton, silk, and viscose). We take extra care with delicate natural fibers to protect their beauty and integrity. Unfortunately, we don't clean jute rugs—they're made from grass-like fibers that can brown or stain easily with any moisture.

• Do you clean natural fiber rugs differently than synthetic ones?

  Yes! Natural fiber rugs (wool, cotton, silk, etc.) require much more careful handling to avoid damage, color bleeding, or shrinkage, so we use specialized techniques and charge about twice as much as synthetic rugs. Synthetic rugs are more durable, so they're easier (and more affordable) to clean thoroughly.

• Do I need to move my rugs or roll them up before you arrive?

  No need at all! With our powerful truck-mounted system, we clean most rugs right where they are—on your floors. We simply reduce the pressure so nothing shoots through to your hardwood or other flooring underneath.

• How do you clean rugs in place without damaging my floors?

  Great question! We adjust our equipment to use lower pressure and then clean the rug in three separate passes. This gives a deep, thorough clean—pulling out dirt, dust, allergens, and residues—while being gentle enough that no moisture or dirt affects the wood floors below. It's safe and effective!

• Is your rug cleaning safe for delicate or antique Oriental rugs?

  Absolutely. We pretest fibers and colors, use our gentle nontoxic green solutions, and tailor the process (especially for wool and natural fibers) to protect fringes, dyes, and textures. Your valuable rugs get the careful attention they deserve.

• How long does it take for rugs to dry after cleaning?

  Thanks to our controlled low-pressure extraction and high-powered system, rugs usually dry in just a few hours with good airflow. We'll share easy tips (like using a fan) to speed it up so you can put everything back quickly.
