This system is used because of the low cost of equipment and portability. This equipment can easily fit into the trunk of a car and is inexpensive to purchase.

Another trend to be aware of is that some companies claiming to be zero-residue cleaners utilize sodium hydroxide, which is one of the main ingredients in drain cleaner and is also extremely corrosive.
